The Northern Rockies Regional Municipality and Visitor Information Centre operated by the Chamber of Commerce are starting the process of planning for the 75th Anniversary of the Alaska Highway which will coincide with Canada’s 150 Birthday in 2017. Communities along the highway from Dawson Creek to Fairbanks are planning events throughout the year and our goal is to attract visitors to the region.
We are looking for interested individuals, business owners or local organizations who want to be involved in the planning, have ideas for events, or who host annual or special events that they would like promoted as part of other 75th Anniversary celebrations.
A meeting is scheduled for:
