This education session is for staff and family members in Fort Nelson who are caring for a person with dementia. Learn about: • Dementia: types of dementia and practical coping strategies • Tools for effective, meaningful communication with the person with Alzheimer's disease or another dementia • Behaviour as a form of communication and tips for understanding what the person with dementia might be trying to communicate
